Novelty method based on thermal trigger mechanism for high energy

In this study, a novel method based on thermal trigger mechanism for high energy density lithium-ion battery safety is reported, which can significantly reduce damage of thermal runaway. Unlike traditional methods, the flame retardant is wrapped on both sides of the battery using PP film and only play important role under the abuse condition.
